Hello all, The Super King Buffet is closed for renovations. I was told they would be ready by our date but drove by there today and it is still closed. I don't want to take a chance on it not being open so we are changing the location to Golden Corral on Ramsey St. Hoping as many can make it as possible. It was great seeing everyone at the last meetup and once again I like to thank Steve Parker for organizing it! Great food , great company, what else could you ask for. Hope to see you all soon!

Brooke a member of our group and a therapist from Cape Fear Valley Rehab has invited our group to talk to their staff and possibly to some patients about our group and our experiences. Our mission here is to inform them what our group can do to help many with disabilities. Please try to make this meeting. It is an hour of our time and could be very helpful to those who may need a support group. We will meet at the main rehab gym. Further info will be provided as soon as I get it. We had yet another great meeting at Deno's Italian Restaurant last night with some new folks and some of us old goats(not you Sabihah!).
We decided to check into having the next meeting at the MiCasita Mexican Restaurant right across Grove street from Deno's and behind Sandpiper.
Normally MiCasita is very busy every evening and Thursday evenings can be hit and miss. The Manager told me today that they should be able to fit us all in without a wait but if we must wait, it would be just a few short minutes. I plan to arrive early to eliminate the wait. We also might have to be situated in the smoking section if they are swamped but for the quality of the food and service, I don't mind a bit of smoke wafting by periodically. Of course wheelchairs and service pooches are always welcome!

Hello All, Wow, our group is growing and having a good time. This meetup is at Pizza Palace. Thanks Sean and Pam for checking things out for us. Group,
We are offering our place to party and stay cool in the pool. We have a 10x20 cover by the pool for plenty of shade! Or on the pond this 4th. We can grill any food you want to bring on the back porch and shoot any fireworks too, and I do mean any fireworks! So if you are bored and don't have any plans on the 4th stop by and have some country boy fun. Any Ideas on food? I can cook anything you want to bring.
