Meet with people in your local area who live with various Disabilities. Learn how others cope with their disability, offer support and make new friends.
In particular, my soon-to-be 23 year old daughter-in-law is developmentally challenged. However, she is not challenged in her sweet and supportive ways.
Sarah feels alone and is stuck at home and we are trying to help her feel more independent and integrated into the local community.
(We can set regular meetings once I know what interest there is out there.)
